And we’re not talking about a gold watch/retire-at-65 kind of situation. To me, superheroes are like professional athletes … they retire young. So the real question this series asks is, what happens when the power fantasy is over? What comes after that? And everyone in the cast has to deal with it, not just the lead character.'
