The G7 Summit has been it's usual barrel of laughs for all concerned.
Brazil's Amazonian rainforest is burning, and
the Government of President Bolsonaro has rejected aid from the G7, accusing them of colonialism. His own track record of defunding environmental protections to gain support from deforestation interests is of course,
completely unrelated. < /sarcasm>
Britain's opposition parties are getting together to try and come up with a unified plan to stop a "No Deal" BrexitYoung Justice ends season 3 today with a three episode drop, so there'll be a lot going on there!
The Dark Crystal prequel "Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" arrives on Netflix this Friday and I am SO stoked for it!!
The trailer itself is glorious I'm also going to the display of puppets and props at the London British Film Institute next week!
I'm somewhat less impressed by the new
Rise of Skywalker trailer that just arrived, which is two and a half minute long railer which doesn't show any new footage until over a minute in, the rest being a bizarrely ordered series of images from the previous 8 films. I really want to be excited for this movie, but I worry it's going to be too stuck in it's past than moving it's own already disjointed story to a conclusion, especially with the "secret" villain we all know is coming back for this, despite not being hinted at in the previous two parts.
