Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.
The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.
I can't even keep up with the twitpocalypse/xpocalypse anymore, but the eye of Sauron style strobing "X" sign the Elongated Muskrat had installed over the HQ has been removed following complaints from neighbours.
In the same week we lost Sinead O'Connor and Paul Reubens, two performers so wildly different I can't even think of a bridge between the two.
Good Omens season 2 arrived and was very much the David Tennant and Michael Sheen show. Which wasn't to say it wasn't good, because it really, really was, though the story felt a lot slighter. I believe Neil Gaiman has said that a lot of it is about setting up for a Season 3, which tracks.

So, this issue reveals a hitherto undisclosed part of the Ghost Rider curse: in addition to being compelled to punish those who spill innocent blood, GR must also always act the Good Samaritan, and pick up any hitchhiker they come across. Naturally, this results in a wacky escapade with sliced off faces, bereft of dialogue or sound effects.
On the final two pages, we are introduced to a member of ORCHIS' supernatural division, proving once and for all that the organisation is the friendly face of human superiority.
