Detective Comics #1076 kicks off an ensemble story.

It's following from the end of issue #1075, which had Batman taken into the custody of the Orghams.

He's chained up in a cell, a demon eating away at his memories - at the Orgham family's mercy, kept to be another instrument of their Gotham-shaping work.

The family's scion, Arzen - the public face of the Orghams - came to the Bat, to Bruce Wayne whom he'd come to consider a friend.

The app is no more as of the 4th of December

Kindle will now be the only place to read/buy your comics.

The app was incredible at changing my comics buying and reading experience, not relying on getting to the horrible dingy store after work, and able to get access to lots of indie books that would never have reached me through physical means, as well as allowing me to buy lots of crap without worrying where to put it.

when comixology first came on the scene, we discussed it here and I think it's made huge changes to a lot of people.

So, the last issue was less about the monster-fighting than it was Superman preparing for his proposal to Lois Lane. In this second issue Kong does not even appear, but we get an insight into the Bat-fmaily dynamics in this Elseworlds as they deal with a monstr attacking Gotham City. A giant, sonic-based bat, of course. What possible weak points could it have?
