My pick's gotta be Jose-Luis Munuera, former Spirou artist, currently working on the Nävis series. One of the things I love most is motion, and Munuera's ability to capture that on the page is one of the best in the business.

But you're not here to read my opinions, so I'll let the man's work speak for itself. All scans are from the artist's (sadly abandoned) blog.

You betcha! Just about every modern artist working in the Franco-Belgian region I've seen have been outstanding. There's such a lot of great stuff coming from that area lately, not just in comics but animation too. Go take a look on YouTube for "Gobelins", you'll see what I mean.

I like his work though, lots of energy and movement to it.

Also peeking around his blog, his character designs all look different no blurring together of whose who. Very awesome stuff.
