Now the worrying part of this new commission by TG Sangalang is to ponder whether this is the real Teen Wonder, at the untender mercies of the Scarecrow, or even worse, some poor innocent trick or treater who picked the wrong door (and DEFINITELY the wrong costume) to go trick or treating?! (Of course, this being Gotham, they only have themselves to blame!)

I'm curious, does anyone who's seen the US screen of the Birds of Prey episode know if they really did re-edit the video to remove chunks of the visual innuendo? Apparently a tweet from Gail suggested that for the line you quote, instead of Huntress's little finger wiggle, they cut away to an aquarium...

Batman's busy angsting. It's actually a remarkable episode; "The Fear" which has the first depiction of the Wayne's murder outside of the comics. It's all down to the Scarecrow who us mining Batman's greatest fears, and kidnaps Robin and Wonder Woman along the way. The halloucinations that Scarecrow triggers mean that Bruce sees Dick as his father and Diana as his mother (I leave the implications of THAT to those better versed in abnormal psychology, and can only thank heaven it wasn't the other way round) and he goes into something approaching meltdown...

...so he saw his mom in Wondy's outfit and his father in green manties tied to a cross thing? Dude, I'd be considering a meltdown myself. There are some things one does NOT want to see the parents wearing.

I have a model sheet from that episode and it goes to some length to stress that Robin's feet MUST be on the ground at all times. Presumably in case a kid decides to try doing that to a younger sibling.

It is a great Scarecrow, though I thought he was sort of practicing swinging the scythe around to be sure he took Robin's head clean off when the time was right, but I think I like your idea better, less... immediately lethal
