Batman doesn't bode well with his fight against Bane, but he manages to get away from for a moment to catch his breath.

He finds a lab on the island, and inside is Poison Ivy, who Bane used to forcibly help synthesize his new venom. Batman lets her out, and gets a few answers from her. She gives him the cure to return Bane back to normal.

Eventually after fighting some more despite weak efforts to stun the brute.
Bruce is badly beaten, and at Bane's mercy.










They see his body hit the rocky shore and then the tide comes in and pulls Bane away.


Also the identity of white rabbit is.....

Jaina "Jai" Hudson a charity fundraiser organizer who meets Bruce Wayne at one of her charity functions to raise funds for relief in Pakistan.

You know, this arc hasn't been exactly the greatest thing ever, and I'm looking forward to the new writer, but I do hope they don't just drop White Rabbit. I have to admit I'm very curious about her and what her deal is.

I miss Gail Simone's Bane so much.

I shall echo that sentiment in every religious language I know, real and made up. starting with "HLja!"

I really don't. Treating him like some kind of mook who has no idea of how the world works, or how to interact with a woman had very little in common with the way the character started out. I don't think stories like this are the answer, but I really don't want another set of stories where Bane foolishly assumes the role of a father figure to someone else's pet character.

You know, I really have difficulties understanding who thought this storyarc was a good idea. Bane is going to be the big bad in one of the biggest movies of this summer and they the creative over in the Batbooks thought this would be the ideal story in pushing him? On the other hand, I kind of have to give them credit by having Bane be pretty different from what he has been established in DC continuity as well as how he appears to be in the movie. It takes creative guts to decide to disregard both of those versions to create a new version which has almost no future story potential and have him serve secondary to the new villain of the story.

On another note, does anyone remember who the writer of DARK KNIGHT going to be? I just can't seem to remember it.

The new writer is the same one who wrote the largely acclaimed Penguin mini DC have just finished up. I can't remember his name, but we're starting off with a Scarecrow story once the book's had a Night of the Owls tie-in starring Tim.

White Rabbit's...impractical...outfit aside, she's actually pretty clever. Not only does she have an interesting power that lets her run rings around Batman (even he can't catch what is effectively a ghost), but her "twin" doesn't look anything like her.

I wonder if it's significant that the "White Rabbit" persona has lighter skin than Jaina. Or if it was just something the artist did to throw off readers who suspected that they were the same person.

I hearby declare that White-Tail from now should be called, "Slut Bunny." I mean holy shit, I've seen cheesecake/pin-up bunny girls in furry art with more subtly.

We appreciate that you are trying to bring attention to issues of overly sexualised art; but could you do that without using slutshaming terms and as if the female characters were responsible for the way they dress instead of the (usually male) artists who draw them? An expression like "Slut Bunny" is absolutely not welcome to scans_daily's feminist ethos.
