Constantine takes Tim to the US, which has become the home of modern magic, in a way, due to the proliferation of superheroes. John explains to Tim why he thinks that there hasn't been a boom in British superheroes in comparison to the large number of American ones...

After stopping off at Madame Xanadu's for a card reading, they head off to have a chat with Jim Corrigan. There, they get into a conversation that I've ended up having numerous times as a result of my SO being from the US, while their taxi driver turns out to be working for one of the groups of evil magicians who are out to try and kill Tim before he reaches his potential. The taxi driver's decision to attack Tim HERE ends up going as well as you'd expect.

After a brief meeting with Baron Winter, who is having dinner with Jason Blood, before Constantine and Tim shift across the US to San Francisco to get a bit of safe haven with arguably the most mainstream of DC's contemporary magical set. On the way, they bump into the dad of a certain preboot girlfriend of Jaime Reyes...

Tim hangs out with Zee for a while while Constantine has to head off to India to help out the other Trenchcoat Brigade members who are outright attacking the people attempting to murder Tim, before she decides to take him to a Halloween party being held by the DCU's magic community.

Tala is a Phantom Stranger villainess, though you might know her from Justice League Unlimited. The tour having come to an end, Zee magics up some passports and plane tickets for John and Tim, and the pair head back to England for the next leg of Tim's journey.
