TL;DR version: Amnesia and bad continuity have left Wonder Woman unsure of her abilities, so she asks the JLA to monitor her next 12 missions to make sure she's still fit for duty.
This time, we've got the Phantom Stranger, Felix Faust, and an epic battle of patriotic ladies! Selected panels from a 10-page story, Wonder Woman #218, 1975.

randyripoffSome love for the DCAU Robin--in this case, Tim. This particular story is called Disappearing Act, written by Matthew K. Manning and pencilled by Tim Levins
So here's the premise: Batman's disappeared after following up a lead on a robbery--a robbery committed by none other than J'onn J'onnz. Tim's gone to the satellite to try to get help from the Leaguers on watch--Superman, Flash and Hawkgirl. After Superman keeps Flash and Hawkgirl from beating the tar out of Tim for the unexpected invasion, they go on another call--apparently another Justice Leaguer is committing robbery:

bluefall.insanejournal.comIt's kind of odd to say, but up till this point, the Cheetah has actually had a certain consistency to her. I mean, obviously, in four different chapters we've had four completely different characters, but every different take on Barbara Minerva has actually followed pretty reasonably from the one before, enough that you can actually trace a coherent thread of development through the whole thing - you can see where WML got his reluctant ally from in Perez, you can track Jimenez' calm mastermind to Byrne's deliberate restoration. There have been wild shifts in character, yes, but nothing truly out of left field (Boy!Cheetah excepted, but he doesn't reflect on Minerva herself). You can always pretty much figure where any given emphasis sprang from.
Yeah, that was apparently too good to last.
Next up, somewhat less annoying but possibly even more stupid: Cheetah as portrayed by Pfeifer, with bonus Jeph Loeb. Because apparently the purpose of this series was to torture myself and then spread the pain to you.
