She appears to be a female version of Nightmaster. Which doesn't necessarily exclude Ystina, I suppose.

You know, I had Nightmaster and Nightshade confused, but now I don't see a Ystina resemblance anymore. Plus, last I checked, portraying Ystina as strictly female would be erasure, as I believe she's intersexed, and I doubt Christos Gage would do that.
