I wish they stopped asking that question. We have already been given the answer, again and again and again.

It's because superheroes save the whole planet, occasionally the whole universe, on a regular basis. They save the whole city practically every weekend. Handing out cups of soup wouldn't be much help if the water in the soup is laced with Joker venom.

Yea, it's like... handing out soup, or medicine, is good... but you do kinda need someone to make sure they are alive to do this!

"You're too late, Justice League! With one press of this button, all the world's nuclear weapons will detonate! HA! What?-Someone's poured a cup of soup into the console!

That is just life in the DC-verse really.

Well I think we're ready to pitch this one. We'll need a tie-in with the Joker or Harley for the launch issue -probably Harley- just so the covers guy has something to put the publicity grabber on, but other than that we're ready to go.
