The sun broke over Mr. Boddy's mansion.
Jan. 13th, 2018 01:34 amThe police arrived.
Detective Amarillo updated her colleagues on the state of things- almost all of the suspects in Boddy's murder were dead.
She had one of them, Mr. Green, in custody for the apparent murder of the least likely.
She took him away, leaving the other cops on the scene.
Under the scene were Professor Plum and Dr. Orchid, the two suspects Amarillo couldn't definitely account for.
With them was Boddy, alive.
Plum, regaining consciousness, accused Boddy of actually being one Dr. Black.
" Boddy " - Black - asked him how he'd figured it out.
Plum walked through his thoughts on what'd passed.
He'd first figured Mr. Green for it.
He'd eliminated that possibility when he realized the directness of what'd happened didn't fit that conniver's style.

(Black's referring to Miss Scarlett's death.
He'd only invited her because he apparently liked her music and thought he could mix business with pleasure.
Dr. Black is the victim's name in Cluedo, the original UK edition of Clue, by the way.)
" Now, please- we really must be going. " Black said.
" We can discuss your new employment on the way. "
" Employment? What- what is-
" - I'm still a murder suspect. " said Plum.
" Oh, please. A person of interest at most.
" The two of you will resurface downstream, and a team of obscenely expensive lawyers will make sure you're not under suspicion for long. "
Plum asked Orchid if she'd already agreed to this.
Orchid revealed that she was Black's adopted daughter, that she'd been working together with him well before what'd just passed.

(Upton the butler is as capable of managing mercenaries as he is a mansion.)
Black led them down a passage, expositing that the disappearance of his body would be the last anyone would ever hear of Mr. Boddy.

Away from them, being taken for booking, Mr. Green suddenly began vomiting.
Amarillo pulled over and let him out.
He dropped to his knees.

(That doesn't look comfortable.)

(This is the culmination of Upton's meta tendencies.
.. " Upton ", to be precise.
But, for convenience's sake: Upton.)

Unchecked, he took out the letterer.
Without saying anything, he took out the artist.

Then he went for the only one left.

(just to be clear, I'm quoting the movie, not trying to trigger anyone. besides the gun isn't loaded. one shot at Mr. Boddy in the Study; two for the chandelier; two at the Lounge door and one for the singing telegram.)
