Stardust and The Super-Fiend

The Stardust story from Fantastic Comics #10.
I think this has the most deaths in a Stardust comic (so far anyway).










Please take a moment to remember the Brain Men of Mars. They burnt to death along with the of the planet.
So couldn't Stardust have stopped the Super-Fiend before he killed the entire population of Mars?

Setting the planet on fire before trying to slam it in to an another planet feels a bit redundant from a destruction point of view?

Also I really want to find out what Hanks thought the term solar meant.

Also, a "New York underworld reign of terror" seems a bit of a letdown after this.

It does seem like that, but in this comic, a reign of terror could mean killing off everyone in the western hemisphere.

This science makes sense to me, thanks to Stardust's powerful retarding rays.

The best part is Stardust saying "You're going bye-bye!" as if he were addressing a toddler and not an omnicidal maniac.

So first Stardust grabs Super Fiend by the neck, then flies while holding SF's ankle, finally Fiend realizes he'd better just keep near Stardust.

Is this about the farthest a scheme has gone before Stardust steps in?

I was hoping Super Fiend would have hooves because of that green and red thing on the cover.
