I absolutely and unreservedly love and adore Jaime's entire family, (Brenda and Paco very much included). Thank you for illustrating why.

It took me way too long to get over my bitterness over the death and replacement of Ted Kord and truly appreciate what a fantastic book this was.

Jamie, his family, and friends are all amazing characters.

This book was so damned good, and these pages tell you everything you need to know about why. Amazing supporting cast, great dialogue. The New 52 relaunch was an insult to its memory.

I miss this book so much! I was so, so bitter over DC killing off Ted Kord (was? Still am!) so it took a couple of years and a lot of recs from friends before I picked up the first collected edition from my local library. Once I did, though, I was hooked. I adore Jaime and his friends and family!

Its a shame Jaimes supporting cast has never made it into any of his animated appearances (yes Paco did appear in Batman Brave and the Bold, but it was only him). Their a major part of why people like this series.

Maybe that movie will fix this.

It is odd that, of the things people liked most of Jaime's run, the subversion or defiance of usual super-hero comic trends, and his supporting cast, these are usually the first things which get left out of his adaptations.

(Odd, but not surprising.)

I know there's the page limit, but I'm a little sad that you couldn't include the bit where Guy tells his ring off. I have a bit of a soft spot for Guy and that's one of the more defining moments of just how good he really is.

She's from Bolivia, so it's definitely not Milagro
