Kang is an interesting character to me because he presents two often conflicting viewpoints: he values humanity and all of its accomplishments, being, in effect, an extreme historian, but also has little to no regard for any individuals other than himself. He loves his species, but only because they've produced Kang, who regards himself as the pinnacle of the human race, the end product of humanity. -- Jed MacKay

MiracleMan? (Or will they go with MarvelMan?) Either way, not sure if this is a good or a bad thing...

I'm an enormous fan of the Moore/Gaiman Mircaleman issues, but it's important to remember that it's been thirty years since those issues were published. It's time to see what someone else can do with the character, especially if Gaiman isn't going to finish up scripts for the remaining Silver and Dark Age titles.

I'm speaking, of course, of how they'd have to listen to constant jokes about being "The Unoriginal Writer."

There's Geoff Johns. At this point, half his career is following up on old Alan Moore concepts.
