This part takes a look at Jim spending some time with his family. This is the "original timeline" rather than the "alternate timeline" from the new movie.

starwolf_oakley.insanejournal.comStar Trek XI opened and IMHO kicked ass, and has a test mentioned in WRATH OF KHAN. But we've seen Kirk taking the Kobayashi Maru test before... sort of. In DC Comics' STAR TREK (Vol. 2) #73, we see Cadet Kirk. (Some minor spoilers for Star Trek XI after the cut.)
