Anyone know why the hell this book is part of DC's "Edge" line? It's probably the least edgy book they're putting out outside the Johnny DC line (not that that's a bad thing).

This is my first SD post ever, so please be merciful.

I've been looking for good comics to gift to my cousin. He's 8 (if I remember right, which I probably don't) and pretty smart for his age. I read comics pretty sporadically, so I'm not up-to-date on what's been going on in the all-ages department recently. So: if anyone could recommend some titles that would be fun for me to read and fun for me to share with a kid, that'd be awesome.

So watching the BSG prequil "Caprica" many people have compared it to Fritz Langs " Metropolis" , But I see alot of Omac in it. A hedonistic society in the final stages of driving right off a cliff....
