Just watched it (yeah I know it was available in March). It was enjoyable, yet kinda weird. It didn't feel like Marvel's Thor universe at all to be honest. I thought it was going to be an animated version of the Son of Asgard comic series; it had some design similarities, but it isn't based on it at all.

Post gets kind of spoilery in the middle so it'll be behind a cut. So don't click it if you don't want to know anything!

There's some issues I have with the plot and nitpicky with some of the production value, but really I watched it because there's a teen!Loki in it ;D

This show has THE most well-adjusted and HAPPY Loki I have ever seen )

So overall, can I recommend it? It's a fun diversion of the Marvel Thor universe, but not one that can be placed in any of the continuities (guess you can say some kind of weird version of the Asgardians before one of the other Ragnaroks). I would like to see a continuation of this movie with better production values and where they can focus on the more adult-oriented way with the script, because there's potential there.

But you're not missing anything if you don't watch it. It's kind of like a good bit of fanfiction.

For added fun, imagine events in the entire movie as a giant metaphor about penis sizes. Because it can totally work as that.

Greetings, loyal readers.

Seeing as how this title has been out for a few weeks and no one has brought it, four pages from the most recent issue.

And the title continues to roll in epic proportions.

*Note: Forgive me, my summary will not do this title justice. You know the writing, you know the art, you know the story to be among the best written in recent years. Skip that morning breakfast and get your hands on this.

The Truth of All Things. )

In the most recent requests post, shadowspykie asked for some kick ass Emma Frost scans. One thing popped into my head.

It's from New Avengers #9. The Void is attacking America. Reed Richards has the machine that they used to banish The Void before and is aided by Emma Frost to help get Robert Reynolds under control.

Reed, Emma and the Sentry convince Robert of the threat that the Void poses and that Robert can help to stop it.

Emma asks that Robert relaxes and allows her into his mind and this is what it looks like )

Hi. My name is A.L. Baroza and I've been a silent follower of Scans_Daily since the old LiveJournal days. I've enjoyed the conversations, the controversies, and the crack that has come out of this place for years now, and I've decided to finally take the plunge and become a member.

I've been working on a webcomic for about a year and a half now called Rose Madder. I like to describe it as my long-form deconstructionist romance comic.
