"The real beauty of all this is that with even the slightest bit of research it quickly turns out sharks in general — and Great Whites in particular — are a million times more fascinating, mysterious and impressive just by being themselves, than the current crop of wanky sharksploitation B-movies could ever make them with all their techno-hybrids, tentacled CGI and shrieking bikini cliches. Even the cinematic elephant in the room, Jaws, on whose coat tails the original Hook Jaw set out pretty explicitly to ride to glory, leans on a bunch of super lazy assumptions about its eponymous monster. The notion of sharks as dumb, solitary, indiscriminately murderous eating machines was already shabby by the standards of Jaws‘s day — by today’s orthodoxy it’s positively primitive." -- Si Spurrier

When Dan Slott introduced the Unspoken in his Mighty Avengers run (you can read the story here and here), he was what TV Tropes called a fallen hero.

Charles Soule brought his character back in the Inhuman title, though his characterization and history bore only a superficial resemblance to the original character. Instead, he was just evil. In my opinion, this made for a much less interesting story.

Our main character, Savior 28, is a hero from the Golden Age, the same era that gave us the original versions of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Captain America. We follow his evolution through the decades—-reaching the crisis point where a series of traumatic events conspire to push S-28 over the edge. He finally sees that the way he's been doing things all these years isn't just wrong, it's insane.

He realizes he has to find a New Way to live, to work for change in the world. Problem is, after seven decades of solving problems with his fists, he has no clue what that Way is. And when he finally does find The Way, he discovers that most of the world isn't ready to go along with him.
