One of the things we discussed early on was that a lot of modern comics spent a ton of time talking. No Surrender hearkens back to a more classic superheroic-style struggle and that means a lot of action. Every issue we see characters using their powers, saving people, and kicking butt. -- Jim Zub

I love Daredevil and had always wanted a shot at (the character). When they said “Black Panther,” my heart kind of sank. See, in those days, writers were expected to more or less maintain the status quo.
