You know what, I think my problem is that we haven't been off topic ENOUGH!

Given the state of world headlines I perused before starting this: a nucelar explosion in Russia, Pro-Democracy rallies being clamped down on in Hong-Kong, the whole Jeffrey Epstein situation, Kashmir, Brexit, Trump, I could go on... I actively urge you to go more off topic than we ever have before.

What was the diet of a Roman Legionary in Gaul?

You are welcome to bring up whatever matters you see fit of course, that's the point of these posts, but try and pepper them with completely off topic information too. Look on it as a challenge.

Venom #13.2 was the third part of Circle of Fire.

The protagonists - Venom, the Red Hulk, X-23, and the Ghost Rider - had fought their Antitheses.

The Ghost Rider'd beaten hers, and now faced the son of Mephisto, Blackheart.

His voice was in her head, promising her absolution in return for her service - allow the corner of Hell that he'd brought into Las Vegas to spread over the world, and he'd restore the souls that she'd unjustly blasted to Hell.

He also offered her a place at his right hand.

" You offering me a one-time deal is one thing..

" .. but the Spirit of Vengeance serves no one.

" And I don't recall agreeing to work for you. "
