Showing them in different lights or alternative universes, or giving them new origins, or adding complexity – it doesn’t work. The best way to do Super-characters, at least in my opinion, is to sort of strip all that stuff down. It seems like there are just these barnacles on these characters, until you’ve got angel wings and ectoplasm. -- Tom King

Way of X #3 - "The Joy of X"

Anyway, I'm halfway through writing the “Make more mutants” issue. The working title is “The Joy of X.” I don't know if I'll get away with that. It’s a lot of fun, mixed with some crazy repercussions. It's the sort of lateral-thinking stuff that you can examine when you have a world that's been built so cleverly. You can start to dial into the granular stuff and see how it would all work if you were there on the ground. In other words, this isn’t just a heady book about religion and philosophy. It's also a hoot. -- Si Spurrier

NS: Loki Season 1 Discussion

For those who watched it, what did you think of Loki?
In my opinion it’s the best of the MCU shows so far if only because of Tom Huddleston who has consistently been one of the highlights of the MCU. He does a great job and the show manages to add new facets to his character that will hopefully be explored further.Without spoiling anything I will also say this is probably the first MCU series that I think will become important to future films in terms of what it sets up and introduces. I was a bit surprised at how deep it got given how minor the past two series were in the grand scheme of things.
