In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like.

Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.

The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.

"Agatha All Along" debuted and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I confess I would also have enjoyed the hell out of the faux Scandi-detective drama that opened the first episode. And The Witches Chant has been stuck in my head all week, but such is life.

To celebrate it's 40th Anniversary, Studio Trigger in Japan created an amazing tribute video which includes references to every Transformers genre which has played in Japan (which sadly means I think Rescue Bots, the longest running entry in the franchise in terms of number of episodes, isn't featured as far a I could tell, but it goes by so quickly I might have missed a reference)

“The story of Dr. Frankenstein and his poor, misunderstood monster is one of the most recognizable and influential horror tales ever told… It’s also one of my favorites. The original 1931 film from Universal Pictures is a continuing inspiration for my art and storytelling, so, as you can imagine, I was honored to be able to play in that sandbox. Trying to tell an original story while staying true to the canon of that film was an exciting yet daunting prospect. It’s been some of the most fun I’ve had making comic books, and I know that fans of Frankenstein and horror will have a blast experiencing these characters and iconic scenes like never before.” -- Michael Walsh

Death's Head issue #8 sees the mechanoid leaving the world of 8162 behind and going on a trip through time (and universes) thanks to Marvel UK having the rights to publish a bunch of different IPs at the time, including the continuing adventures of Doctor Who.
