It's a really good issue and it was hard to choose only four pages. 

*Note: I originally posted this without realizing that four pages had already been posted from this issue. Since there are comments on this entry, I've deleted only the scans so that the comments don't get deleted.

Picking up from the preview, Loki is being hunted by the Hel-Wolf while trying to make his way to Hel. Loki and co. realize that the Hel-Wolf will catch them before they can make it to Hela, so Thori tells Loki to give him a glove so that he can lead "Evil Daddy dog" away using Loki's scent. Thori bounds off, saying that he is, "Thori Deathripper! Best of all dogs!"


Meanwhile in Hel, Bill (I still haven't figured out who Bill is aside from his relation to Kelda) is training the dead Gods in Hel under Hela's orders. One of the (no longer?) Disir tells Hela that Loki is being chased and is trying to sneak into Hel, and Hela (while being rather ambiguous) tells her to go with the other disir to stop trespassers.

Meanwhile meanwhile, Volstagg tells the All-Mother that Thor and Loki are missing and tries to release the All-Mother so that they may help fight. They refuse Volstagg's pardons as they know that troops will not trust them and may therefore turn on Volstagg. Freya also tells him that hope lies with Thor and Loki. 

Back to the heart stomping, Loki is crying over Thori's sacrifice when he is caught by the Hel-Wolf, and it is revealed that Thori gave his location away to Hel-Wolf. Loki cries over the betrayal, which Thori blames on Loki making him "kneel".


Garm and the not-Disir then bust in to get Loki while Garm and Hel-Wolf snark at each other. Brün takes Loki to Hela, who pretty much knew what Loki was up to the whole time. She opens a portal so that Loki can go back in time (which was why Loki was trying to get to Hel in the first place). Loki goes back to the moments immediately after past-Loki wrote Leah into the Serpent's history and released Surtur into Dark Asgard (back during Fear Itself). He goes back to the book and re-writes Leah's history (fanfiction?) as dark Asgard collapses, and ends her story in a way that allows her to choose her own life. (It's a really nice page.) 

He then goes to the present time, and finds himself back in Muspelheim with Surtur and Leah, the latter of whom realizes what Loki did for her and saves him from Surtur. Unfortunately, they can't escape Muspelheim, and they stand together as their surroundings are blasted away by Surtur.

Don't mind me, that was just the sound of my everything breaking. :(

The issue ends as Hela beckons the somewhat-drowned-Thor to Hel, where Thor comes out of the lava. Hela gives him the army of fallen Gods for him to lead, and tells him that Loki knew where Thor would end up (something which I think is rather important). 


I need to go lie down.

Aw snap, I checked the new postings before I started writing this one, but I'm so slow it took me over an hour to write this. XD

I'm not sure what the procedure is in this case. Should I delete this post, or just leave it? (I'll go check, hang on a minute)

Edit: I can't figure it out from the rules, but I looked at some tags and it seems like it's okay for me to leave this post. I'm not entirely sure, though. o _o;

The rules here outline the details of what you can post.

There can't be more than four pages posted from a new issue by any one person (even across multiple posts) including preview images, and no more than 1/3 of the total pages across all posts and people.

I think you're a bit over the four page limit in total, factoring the preview post into account, and with the earlier post by proagador, that puts us over the 1/3 too. I'd suggest taking a page or two down.

Awesome, thanks! I've removed one page, the panel with Garm, and the two panels with Thori, which brings this post to about two pages. Then there's one page from the preview post, and about four pages from pragador's post, which gets a total of 7 pages. Is that about right?

As it turns out not a lot of help, sorry, I misconstrued the rules, it's four pages total because it's a new issue, which over-rides the 1/3 rule.

Ah, pooey. If I delete the entry, I suppose that deletes the comments as well? I guess it's not possible to delete the scans only, since I need to have a relevant scan in the post, so...do I just go to "Edit entry" and click the "delete entry" button at the bottom?

It's usually not good form to delete a post if it has generated discussion. I'd take the scans out, maybe put in a little explanatory note as to why they were taken down, then when the next issue comes out, you can post them anew if you like as the 1/3 rule will apply THEN.

Bill, son of Bills! He was Kelda's lover, and was brought to New Asgard when it moved to Latveria for a while. Proved that he was just as good a fighter as any Asgardian man, and died in the line of duty against Dr. Doom in a hero's death.

In retrospect, trusting the foul-mouthed demon puppy that spends all of its time making death threats wasn't one of Loki's brighter ideas.

I'm just hoping that Thori's faking it like Loki did with Thor, although I can't really figure out his motivations if that's the case.

That, or Garm will give Thori a thorough scolding.

Yes. :) But Loki means well! Except that somehow, having good intentions has made him better and more successful at wreaking havoc. It's all kinds of wonderful.

So, if Loki has bad intentions he's going to cause chaos, if he has good intentions, he's still going to cause chaos. He's become a true chaotic neutral! :)
