This is from Incredible Hulk #600. It's by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness; the cover is by Alex Ross.

She-Hulk gets Ben Urich, the narrator, to help her and Samson expose the conspirarcy around the Red Hulk. He takes Peter Parker along with him as a photographer.

The Hulk battles the Red Hulk, who "drains the Hulk" out of him.

The place explodes due to the gamma core having a meltdown; Spider-Man saves Urich and A-Bomb (Rick Jones) saves Banner. The Red Hulk, She-Hulk, Samson, and MODOK remain behind as it explodes.

Later, the Red Hulk threatens Urich that he'll knock down the building where everyone at Front Line works if he prints the story.

I see Hulk is still in "meaningless and vapid plot moving nowhere in particular" mode.

You've described Jeph Loeb's writing to a T. Why are you surprised?

Wait...Front Line is that newspaper that goes on to printing unpleasant truths about Norman Osborn, current head-honcho of everything crazy and evil in the Marvel Universe, right?

If they ain't afraid of the Green Goblin, why should they be afraid of someone knocking over their building? Something which they easily can circumvent by, dunno, moving to another building? I don't think Rulk is that much of a newspaper reader, I doubt he'd check the newspaper's address.

So if they don't print the story, but post it online on their website, it'll be okay?

Wasn't this supposed to be the big issue where we FINALLY learn the identity of Rulk?

What a gip.

But at least Pak is back writing Hulk again. =D

Been at least 3 issues with "identity will be revealed!" somewhere in the sell line and nothing showing, which is why I dropped it. After seeing this clip, glad I did as it's continued to not move.

Marvel really is trying it's best to generate the bizarrest of love/hate relationships with it's readers, isn't it?

They come up with good ideas like actually putting a decent creative team on Runaways, pledging to support Agents of Atlas and the like, and then they pull bullshit like this, where some pathetic little Gary-Stu of a character, around for five seconds, is allowed to (seemingly permanently) supplant one of comics' greatest characters, all to keep the Jeph Loeb blowjob going. Between this and the taunting with Mary Jane and the 'we know something you don't know' that Slott and the Spidey Bland Trust are pulling off, you'd think Marvel wanted me to blow chunks everytime I see one of their books.

And we lost She-Hulk as a title, for this and the pathetic Red-She-Hulk thing they're going to be pushing now?

She-Rulk is a villain, just like Rulk.

Jen will be in the Lyra back-up in Incredible Hulk(paks book).

You can read that instead of Loebs, if you so wish it.

I still prefer Loeb's fanfic to Pak's fanfic. At least Loeb makes me laugh. I still smile everytime I think about Wendihulk.
And MODOK! Lol! Now they just need to reveal that Red Hulk is Dirk Anger.

Rulk's toenails intrigue me. Does he have the same polish as Nico or does he just mix multiple colors to get the that dark?

Maybe Rulk should be The Maestro, messed up by exposure to some other forms of energy

Shouldn't it be illegal for people in comics to say "never?" by now? Nobody buys it anymore. I mean, people count the issues when Jean does come back to life to the point she dies or turn evil...
