This is from Incredible Hulk #600. It's by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness; the cover is by Alex Ross.

She-Hulk gets Ben Urich, the narrator, to help her and Samson expose the conspirarcy around the Red Hulk. He takes Peter Parker along with him as a photographer.

The Hulk battles the Red Hulk, who "drains the Hulk" out of him.

The place explodes due to the gamma core having a meltdown; Spider-Man saves Urich and A-Bomb (Rick Jones) saves Banner. The Red Hulk, She-Hulk, Samson, and MODOK remain behind as it explodes.

Later, the Red Hulk threatens Urich that he'll knock down the building where everyone at Front Line works if he prints the story.

Wasn't this supposed to be the big issue where we FINALLY learn the identity of Rulk?

What a gip.

But at least Pak is back writing Hulk again. =D

I've actually heard from a few different anonymous sources - who were reliable enough to tip me off to the events of "Dark Reign" months before the first rumors started coming out about that - that Loeb originally intended Rulk to be "Thunderbolt" Ross, but as soon as fans guessed that's who he was, Loeb threw out those scripts. Now, according to those anons, not even Loeb knows who Rulk is anymore, nor is he even bothering to figure it out anymore.

Yeah, because that kind of "can't let the fans guess!" scripting always leads to great stories!

THAT'S WHY ARMAGEDDON 2001 IS THE GREATEST CROSSOVER EVER

And as much as a lot of fans, myself included, really do go overboard with the THEY'RE JUST DOING THIS TO SHOW THEIR CONTEMPT FOR THE FANS routine, I have to say, if you're willing to fuck over your own story, just to prevent your readers from correctly guessing your mystery, then you really do hate them.

nah, that's not hate. That's self-absorbtion. A feeling that their mystery is more important than the destination. Never mind the fact that after the mystery is over if the character is any good he'll be around for decades after, while the twist and turns you put in to recreate an already solved mystery will make the character convoluted enough that once you're done he'll never be touched.

Red Hulk is like the Time Trapper- at any given moment, anyone is him.

Let's Be Friends Again, a rather funny webcomic. (http://www.letsbefriendsagain.com/2009/04/03/hypertime-to-get-a-divorce/)

Been at least 3 issues with "identity will be revealed!" somewhere in the sell line and nothing showing, which is why I dropped it. After seeing this clip, glad I did as it's continued to not move.
