Last issue: back in the 1980s (okay, it should be the '80s, but it was probably just, like, ten years ago Marvel-time), both Emma Frost and Elektra worked for the Kingpin. One night, a little girl saw Elektra assassinate someone, so Elektra went to Emma and asked her to mindwipe the girl. However, the Kingpin already got word that there was a witness and, well, he takes more extreme measures to witnesses.

Cue: Emma Frost and Elektra kidnapping the girl...with the help of a special guest.

At some point they'll try to finish her redemption by revealing the pony was a Skrull. Emma killing that pony actually saved the world.

The good cuts of horse are actually delicious, I've had entrecot made with horse and it's amazing, more lean tahn beef but with a really nice flavour.

There was something like this in FANTASTIC FOUR VS. X-MEN. Rogue kisses the Thing to absorb his powers and knock him out... and is amazed at how noble Ben Grimm actually is.

So was this in the time period where Spidey was just wearing his normal black suit instead of being bonded with Venom? I’d assume so since Emma is just picking up on Peter’s thoughts and nothing else. Although that would be amusing to see a telepath inside Pete’s head getting his thoughts on like being a good person and then also picking up the symbiotes thoughts.

Peter’s brain: I must be a good person and help everyone around me even if I lose in the process.

Emma: Aw, what a sweet boy.

Peter’s brain: Also, I crave the sweet taste of brains.

Emma: …the hell?

You can tell by web which it is. Spidey's goes THWIP! Venom's goes PLIP. It also come out the top of his hand. So this is just black costume Spidey.

Anyone who looks underneath his constant prattling is going to see what a genuine hero Spider-Man is. I hope she left him with a feeling of satisfaction. Even if he forgot that night, he should still feel more appreciated than before. That feeling is what keeps some heroes going and it's the best thank you Emma could provide at such short notice.

Well, she probably could have sent him some money later, but let's face it. He'd probably lose it somehow.
