Thomas Wayne acting like a jerk

A recent post sparked some comments on the role of good and bad parents in the bat mythos, and how Thomas and Martha Wayne are almost always shown as damn near perfect. I thought I'd post a few scans from Batman 430 (an issue about a rooftop sniper about to go on a killing-spree) which contains a flashback to Bruce's childhood and casts the Waynes in a different light.

Exploring Bruce and Jim Gordon's friendship part 1: Batman Turning Points part 1 of 5

Batman Turning Points was a trade paper back that debuted in 2001. It explored Jim Gordon and Bruce's friendship over the years. It really shows Batman's human side and just why someone like him who is "outside the book" and Jim who is really by the book can be such good friends. I will post issues 2-5 later tonight.

Issue 1 (of 5) takes place very shortly after Batman Year One. It's 22 pages so I will post 7 plus the cover.

Introductory Post

Hi, Everyone! :D I thought I would post and say hello to you all. I've been lurking for a while, but this is the first time I've really contributed. As an offering, I present a panel from one of my favorite Green Lantern books, because Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis might just be my dream team. I read the rules thoroughly and hope I'm following them all. Peeked through the tags and didn't see this, but if it was hiding somewhere and I missed it (Hal has a lot of tags, but I think I looked through them all. Also looked through Reis's and "Green Lantern's" creator and title tags as well) let me know and I'll be happy to either find something to replace it with, or to take the post down. (Though, I'm pretty sure I didn't miss it, so it should be okay. I've only seen two pages from this issue.)
