"People were mad at me when we did this thing where he joined the Avengers to spy on them. I couldn’t figure out why he joined the Avengers, and the only thing that made any logical sense to me was to find out whether these people were a threat. Once he was comfortable they weren’t a threat, he felt OK helping them out from time to time. But his number one responsibility was Wakanda. You got Aquaman in the Justice League. You had Namor in the Avengers. None of that ever made any sense. These people have obligations that are larger than America or whatever the Avengers and Justice League are up to. So all Toys'R'Us are closing in the UK, and there's a closing down sale on for anyone interested in 20% (though only 10% of LEGO at the moment.

Speaking of which, LEGO has announced it's first drop in sales in 13 years

POTUS 45 is considering upping the ante on his trade wars approach, which is causing a degree of global concern, to say the least.

The Oscars happened and, though I didn't watch them myself, it appears that an adaptation of what probably started out as a "Creature from the Black Lagoon" porn fic winning Best Picture and Best Director for Guillermo Del Toro! Go him!

The oldest known "Message in a bottle" has been found in Australia, 132 years after it was thrown into the water from a German boat sometime in 1886.

A former spy and his daughter have been found, apparently poisoned, in Salisbury in the UK in what seem to be, at least, very mysterious circumstances.

Doctor Strange and most of the other Sorcerers Supreme from across time that he'd fought alongside were by his side.

Isaac Newton advised finding the person with whom Billy'd dealt to get the mark.

Strange asked Billy who that was.

Billy flashed back, flashed forward, to the circumstances of the deal.

"I just used Stan, and only Stan, as my template--though I wanted a more laconic, more Batman-esque and mysterious character to Stan’s friendly and gregarious monarch. I didn’t think Panther would talk all that much. I thought Batman talked too much (and maybe still does, I don’t actively read comics anymore); like all that yakking he does explaining his motives in the final moments of The Dark Knight; it was a violation of his character to stand there yammering.
