I always say that Jon Hickman and I do the opposite thing in comics. Hickman takes these characters we thought we knew and turns them into gods. You read his writing and you feel like you’re reading the Greek gods talking about humans way far below them, and all these comic characters are just kind of blessed in ways we cannot understand.
