While Kong and the Big G have little more than a cameo in this first issue, there are six more issues so go, so lots of space for that monster action in the future.
Also! This issue has Giganta in the Legion of Doom! But needless violence against robots too, so mixed feelings there.

NS: The Flash discussion

The lack of a Flash discussion post was brought up in the previous thread (understandable given how badly it’s doing) so here it is.
My two cents: looking at the film by itself, it’s not bad. Ezra Miller gave a strong performance as two different versions of Barry interacting with each other. Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman is fine but he didn’t blow me away; I got more out of his performance as Vulture. Sasha Calle was great as Supergirl and I’m going to be disappointed if she’s recast.
