today ended the War of the Realms, an event that Jason Aaron has been building to since he took over Thor with
Thor: God of Thunder in 2012.
It was quite a satisfying finale.
Unlike with Tom King's Batman run, which has asked me to believe that EVERYTHING is all part of the villain's plan and diminished each event, I get the real feeling that this is exactly what Jason Aaron wanted, and that I'll be able to get something out of subsequent re-readings.
Lots of characters have their arcs tied up(and new plans set in motion) in this finale and this post will focus on only two of them - Jane Foster and Loki, who both met first in
The Mighty Thor #3( War of Realms #6 )
