First, this awesome poster. The trailer's behind the cut to increase tension.

My observations; the art and animation all look better than the original series finale.
....
Do you understand what I'm telling you people?!
IT LOOKS! BETTER! THAN THE ORIGINAL! FINALE!
HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!

Marvel has the teaser image of a picture that is getting quite a bit of chatter here in the Hall this Sunday as Marvel talk about what comes next after Fear Itself. A lot of people missed this, and are now scouring the webs for details.
This was revealed on Friday, and now eyeballs are going wide.

Peter Parker is Barry, not Hal.

Information from the San Diego Comic Con and some thoughts about the Green Lantern movie gave me an epiphany about Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man.
We want Peter Parker to be Barry Allen, not Hal Jordan.

Wow, I'm quite a Paul Pelletier fan, but this Hulk looks pretty awesome!
Cosmic Book News has the images up from the Fear Itself Panel, with a bunch of Silvestri's Hulk.
I'm onboard for this.
A couple below, more found at CBN.

Two pages from Daredevil #1

So one thing that bugged me about the new DD reboot was how 'happy' it looked...not that DD can't be happy, but given the circumstances where we last left him, I thought it was a little jarring.
These two pages put my fears to a rest a little bit.

So last week, Matt Murdock came back to New York.
He's in a Charlie Crews state of mind now, almost, and aiming to keep it that way. Like himself, his title's not going to be acknowledging the greyer aspects of his history for a while yet.
Especially the Kingpin; as Waid essentially put it in a March interview, we shouldn't be "holding [our] breath waiting for the Fat Man to appear." So what's Mister Fisk going to be going up against now, with his red right Hand and lady killers?
( The other Man Without Fear, obviously! Except come the conclusion of the American Panther's reign, he won't be that anymore.. )

The 12 Labors of Wonder Woman - Part 9
Jul. 24th, 2011 09:23 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8
TL;DR version: Amnesia and bad continuity have left Wonder Woman unsure of her abilities, so she asks the JLA to monitor her next 12 missions to make sure she's still fit for duty.
This issue, Elongated Man takes his turn playing peeping tom. Warning: Exceedingly cracktastic attempt at "feminist themes" below the cut...
