Class Warfare: Marville and Joe Chill

In September of 2009 on the previous board, I mentioned class warfare in superhero comics. I wondered, "Are superheroes just rich people beating the hell out of poor people?"

I found some more pages from the unlamented MARVILLE series. That miniseries might have worked if it was a new parody series, like NOT BRAND ECCHS or WHAT THE.
I also found a direct mention of class warfare in Grant Morrison's BATMAN run, directly by Joe Chill.

Anyhoo. Bat!Dick has answered Comissioner Gordon and Gage's batsignal, and they're discussing the kidnapping of Francisco Stefano, i.e., that cute guy Steph knows from school.

There's at least two more pages in this sequence I wish I could've posted. I skipped the big plot reveal because, well, it's kinda a letdown IMO. Anyone else wants it, have at!
