John Byrne request & a page from Superman #008 (1987)

Help me s_d, you're my only hope! I'm looking for pose reference for a fanart I want to draw. I have a vague memory of a panel of a character curled up in a ball, tangled in a net or web; I feel sure it's by John Byrne, and I suspect the character may be Spider-Man - from an old Marvel Team-Up perhaps? I'm remembering it with feet facing the viewer, kind of arse-over-teakettle, in the net or whatever. But any similar image would be a huge help if you've got something like that.

The Elseworlds story SUPERMAN: LAST SON OF EARTH, by Steve Gerber, is the tale of Clark Kent, a Terran who was rocketed from the dying planet Earth to the distant world Krypton, where he was raised by the kindly couple of Jor-El and Lara.

I posted from Part 1 of the story a while back, to very positive response, so here's Part 2. You should probably read that entry before this one, or you're going to be rather confused. Part 1 was about his life as the lone human on Krypton, while Part 2 covers his return to the wastelands of Earth.

Request for memorial case smashing scenes!

Hey S_D'ers, you brilliant people, you. I figured you guys could help me out on this little endeavour.

I'm looking for scenes of Jason Todd's memorial case being smashed. I guess there is one is Batman 600, but are there any others? I was told there are more during the Knightfall run, which I haven't read.

C'mon S_D, help a gal out here! :-D

To summarize, Bane has broken out all the inmates from arkham, and is systematically setting up batman for the ultimate defeat. Batman has rounded up most threats, but is TOTALLY exhausted. He’s beaten 3 of Bane’s lead henchmen and returned to Wayne Manor where he finally finds…

Roger Stern wrote this, Bob Hall pencilled it, Brett Breeding inked it, Mark Gruenwald was the editor and Jim Shooter was the Editor in Chief.

I don't read the solicitations any more, too depressing, but I suspect that Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam! is coming to an end. Twists are coming thick and fast--Tawky Tawny is permanently an anthropomorphic tiger, Freddy Freeman has dropped the Black Adam Junior identity for Captain Marvel Junior, Black Adam and the wizard Shazam are both back from limbo, and all of the Marvel Family's enemies have teamed up for a battle royale, as seen on the cover here....

Memorial Case Smashing: Bruce Wayne, Murderer?

To the earlier request by Benicio127, here are some pages to BATMAN #600, written by Ed Brubaker and drawn by Scott McDaniel. It ended the BRUCE WAYNE: MURDERER? storyline and started the BRUCE WAYNE: FUGITIVE storyline. It also (maybe) marks the first time Batman says "There is no Bruce Wayne" out loud.
