I know I maybe late for the week, but my scanner is not working and Dad broke the computer that works the other scanner, and that this guy's distress is about one or two pages long, BUT, considering his situation, it more than worth it. Here is something from Golden Age Batman!

As the sun sets (or rises depending on time difference) on scans_daily's "Dude in Distress Week" (and thank you to the mods for it and to everyone who contributed such great issues), I thought I'd make a couple of posts featuring my favourites... First post will be some commissions, the second post will be some classic moments from the past, and the third will be my nomination for perfect "Dude in Distress" issue. And yes, I should probably apologise in advance for the sheer Robin-centricity of them, but frankly you should know me better by now! :D If cute guys in pixie boots aren't you're thing, please feel free to skip them all.

Good News! Young Justice (animated) has a return date

Young Justice is coming back to TV screens in less than a month! The airdate for the new episode is March 3, 2012.

The episode title and synopsis have been released by World's Finest Online (at the link above) and ( that information's reproduced here too )

For legality here's ( the cover image and solicit for the cartoon's companion comic, the latest issue of which comes out on Feb. 15 )

Also, it looks like The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is getting a new comic series. Still no word on an airdate for Season Two, although since those comics are set for an April release and the movie comes out in May I'm guessing it'll probably be around then.

As promised, this is the second mega-posting to celebrate the end of "Dude(s) in Distress Week", dealing with published images... (This is sort of a "Greatest Hits", as much of it has been posted before)

The history of the "Dude in Distress" in graphical literature is a long and noble one... there are probably medieval woodcuts showing that sort of thing, but as that slightly predates most of the usual area of scans_daily, we'll skip to something vaguely more recent... well, relatively speaking.

LOTS of scans under the cut, but I've used smallish thumbnails so as not to kill your broadband completely! Just stun it slightly...

Dudes in Distress week: Kev saves Midnighter (Tigers not included)

One of the things that greatly annoyed me about The Authority and, later, Midnighter's solo run was that Apollo was constantly abused, beaten up and defeated and Midnighter had to save his ass. If Midnighter was the one who got in trouble, he was also the one who'd hauled his own ass out of there.

BUT! There came a time when even the Night Bringer of War, Death, Pestilance and Twillight marathons on TV had to have someone save him. That someone was... ( The Magnificent Kev! )
