And here's the original art, which was used for the 1978 London Comic Art Convention booklet.
When romance comics were downright creepy.

As anybody who read romance comics scans in both versions of our fine community can attest, romance comics often featured romances between young girls and men that were (at least) a couple of years older then them. But none of them were quite as creepy as "The Man of My Dreams," a story that appeared in Love Problems and Advice Illustrated #2. Now, I know that age consent worked a bit differently back then (it didn't count if you were married), but still... The names of the artist and writer who created this are lost in the mist of time, which is probably just as well.

Molly has been kidnapped by the retarded pink dinosaurs and is now trapped in Hell, forced to listen to the Governess because the Governess is torturing Crimple. Molly is told to read from a book. (8 scans, issue longer than 22 pages; writer John Ney Rieber and illustrator Peter Snejbjerg.)
( Shrinking Violetta, or the Princess Who Did As She Pleased. )
Tim also had to read a story. His was shorter. I'll get to Gotham Central later.

Four scans apiece from Daredevil #501, the first proper issue of Andy Diggle's run on the title, and from X-Men vs. Agents of Atlas #1; obviously something of a stylistic difference.

Well Geoff Johns announced that he and Francis Manapul will be on Flash, I understand that Johns will stay on Green Lantern that he will head up a new core Justice League Of America title to be announced shortly. So while Geoff keeps control over the League and two of its members, friend and colleague Grant Morrison will be keeping the others in check, continuing a monthly Batman book but also adding a Superman and Wonder Woman book to the mix, for the full Trinity set.
From BleedingCool.com
I realize that I'm in the minority when it comes to my blind, seething hatred for Grant Morrison's writing style and everything he represents in the industry, so I'll reserve my vitriol for later. But giving Grant Morrison--Grant "girl power, bondage, and disturbed sexuality" Morrison--a Wonder Woman title? Be not proud.
For legality, something that has nothing to do with anything, but should at least bring a smile to someone's face. From Secret Six #9:

If I recall correctly: when the Joker was sniping people in an earlier arc, he also kidnapped a female news anchor, tied her up, and hung her upside down with a camera pointing at her with a bomb nearby. Detective Nate Patton tried to disarm the bomb. Meanwhile, Batman showed up and managed to rescue the woman, but not the detective. The ensuing explosion put Patton in a coma, and eventually his family chose to pull the plug. Nate's partner was Romy. The police department took down the signal and then instructed the officers to treat him as a hostile.
( Good job, Romy. )
Aaaaaand if it matters, Romy does get her gun back before she gets in trouble, thanks to some diplomatic work from Robin and Stacy the receptionist.
