thanekosIt's five issues written by Zac Thompson, drawn by Germán García, and colored by Matheus Lopes.
It tackles the titular protagonist from a " person's symbiotic relationship with the world they're in " angle, similar to the ones Thompson employed in Lonely Receiver and I Breathed A Body.
Its basis for that approach is in continuity - in a 2013 " Savage Wolverine " story, Ka-Zar's wife Shanna the She-Devil died and was revived with a supernatural connection to the Savage Land. Seven years later, in the Avengers Empyre tie-in, Ka-Zar died and was revived with a similar connection.
( The two of them were left with an outlook on the Savage Land that differentiated them from their son, Matthew. )

Jul. 26th, 2012 01:21 pmhis_spiffynesssauggie18's earlier post and the resulting discussion about heroes in Limbo reminded me of the epilogue of Ka-Zar the Savage #34. The final issue of the series where Ka-Zar ends up (once again) in the Land of Cancelled Heroes. ( 6 pages of a 32 page comic )
neuhallidaeYou all knew I was gonna do this one. Yes, it's time for another post of (pre-reboot) Marvel Adventures awesome! There've been pages posted already from some of these issues, but after checking tags, I think I'm still under the limit. Still a very image-heavy post.
