This story was advertised as the origin of Orion and Mr. Miracle. What they don't tell you is that it's essentially Highfather's origin too, from when he was known as "Izaya the Inheritor" (what does he inherit? That's a plot point.)

kingrockwellOh man, you guys. I can't even tell you how great this next story is, it's the last one from DCU Holiday Bash #1, and you know what they say about saving the best one. All I can say is 1/3 doesn't do it much justice, so you should really track down this issue to see the whole thing for yourselves!
