Once a month we will have a requests post where members can ask for certain scans to be posted. Other members seeking inspiration can look through the requests and fulfill someone's dream. Posting a request is no guarantee of its being filled, but request posts will be archived so that members can look through comments from previous months and answer them if they so desire.

Science Vs Sorcery

Ah, I love a good showdown between Science and a sorcerous Vampire Queen :)

In the lastest issue of Gold Digger, an old character returns.



The Vampire Queen, Natasha, has decided to go on a hunt to prove her strength after too long idle, and in her sights is the guardian bird of a monastery. The only thing standing in her way? Madrid, a perfectly normal explorer (well, now. She used to have powers but she traded it to look like the main character. Long story), armed with, among other things, not a fraction of the firepower of the Queen, a series of tools for exploration including levitation gear and a portal device, and one very good brain.

And really, isn't that all anyone needs?

X-Men Origins: Nightcrawler #1

Apparently, Nightcrawler's origin -- abandoned to die at birth for being born blue and elfy, being forced to kill his brother in self-defense, and nearly being staked through the heart for a series of child murders he didn't commit -- wasn't depressing enough, so Marvel decided to fix that.
